Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exams 2022: 10th 12th Board Exams in offline mode, on schedule- MSBSHSE issues Guidelines.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE has confirmed in a press conference today, on February 3, 2022 that Maharashtra Board Exams 2022 will be held in offline mode. It has announced that both SSC, HSC exams will be held in offline mode from the dates that were announced before. More details on the official website – mahahsscboard.in.

Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exams 2022 will be held from March itself. The Board has clarified in a press conference that Class 10th exams will be held from March 15 to April 4, 2022 and class 12th exams will be held from March 4.

This announcement of offline exams comes at a time when students were constantly demanding online exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Further, vaccination has been made mandatory for students. As per guidelines, more than 25 students will not be allowed in a class. This has been capped to maintain social distancing.

Further to ensure students don’t face problems, Maharashtra Board will provide Medical Help at all exam centres and this time, the number of exam centres has been increased by almost 4 times to accomodate students with COVID-19 safety protocols.

The biggest relief that MSBSHSE has provided students is that in case a student misses MSBSHSE SSC, HSC exams due to being infected with COVID-19, those students will most likely get another opportunity later to appear in the exams. Detailed guidelines on this will be released later.

Maharashtra Board students may please note that the announcement about holding offline exams has been made by MSBSHSE representatives in a press conference today at 11:30 am. 

Before this, the proposal to hold offline exams or Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exams 2022 in offline mode was submitted to the state government. This proposal was then accepted by the government and hence, the announcement has been made today with final confirmation. 

Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exams 2022 had caused a stir on social media. Students had been demanding that the exams should be held online due to the risk of COVID-19. Further, many students even protested against offline exams.
